Merry

Merry is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with experience supporting both adults and children. She currently works within a specialist CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team, where she carries out comprehensive autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people, alongside providing therapeutic support and consultation to multidisciplinary teams, individuals, and families.

 

Merry’s work is grounded in a nuanced understanding of neurodivergence, sensory differences, trauma, and the wider systemic factors that shape wellbeing. She is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT (individual and parent-led), ACT, and MBT-F. She has specialist experience working with neurodivergent individuals and people with learning disabilities across the lifespan, and is trained in the administration and interpretation of ADOS-2 and Wechsler Intelligence Scales.

 

With a personal connection to neurodivergence, Merry is passionate about providing clear, respectful, and empowering assessments that help individuals and families better understand themselves and access meaningful support. In her work, she strives to maintain warmth and empathy, and to welcome lightness and humour where appropriate. Her collaborative approach recognises and celebrates difference rather than deficit, and her practice is shaped by a strong commitment to neuro-affirming values.
