Garrett Kennedy

Garrett is a Consultant Chartered Psychologist registered with the HCPC, and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, with many years of experience in clinical psychotherapies, assessment, academia, and leadership roles.

 

His approach brings clinical expertise to where it is needed most, using trauma-informed principles. Clinical work includes supporting people with complex needs, trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, and autism assessment. He has developed and led psychology services, supervised trainees to doctoral level, and held senior positions in healthcare as well as universities.

 

Psychological safety and a compassionate approach is central to his way of working.  He works to create spaces where people feel valued and diverse perspectives are heard, combining clinical expertise with practical support along the way.
