Rebecca is the Clinical Director of Autism Detect, where she leads on clinical strategy, service development, and quality assurance. Drawing from both professional and lived experience of neurodivergence, she is deeply committed to improving access to high-quality, compassionate autism assessments.

With a personal understanding of what it means to be neurodivergent, Rebecca brings a unique perspective to her role that values recognition, validation, and support. Her insight fuels a strong dedication to creating assessment pathways that are not only clinically rigorous but also affirming, empowering, and trauma-informed.

Rebecca has worked extensively in neurodevelopmental services, including in senior leadership roles where she has shaped clinical governance frameworks, supervised multidisciplinary teams, and championed best practice across services. Her approach reflects a careful balance between clinical integrity and a person-centred ethos.

Her specialist interests include diagnostic complexity, the intersections between autism, ADHD, and trauma, and the often-overlooked experiences of neurodivergent women and girls. She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals who have remained undiagnosed for years and ensuring that Autism Detect’s services reflect the full spectrum of autistic experience.

At Autism Detect, Rebecca oversees a team of skilled clinicians. She leads on safeguarding and service development, ensuring that every assessment is inclusive, evidence-based, and tailored to the unique needs of the neurodivergent community.
